SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2023 AT 10 AM – 12 PM

Although we don’t yet know what 2024 Presidential year caucus will look like, we ARE having Odd Year caucuses as usual, to provide an opportunity to / for:
  • Our Democratic State Legislators (some new, some representing new areas), Party Leaders, and Grassroots Democrats in each State Senate District to get to know each other better
  • Update attendees on what is & is not yet known about what 2024 caucuses & expression of Presidential Preference will look like.
  • Hear a Legislative Update from your State Senator and/or State Reps (except SD42 which has all Republican legislators – we’ll find someone else to present that update there)
  • Discuss issues important to us, how we can advance them, and submit related platform resolutions.
  • Meet briefly in Precinct Breakouts to get to know those closest to us on the map, and submit nominations to fill open seats on the Central Committee (link to a list of open seats will be added here)
  • Brainstorm what we can do starting now to win more votes for Democratic candidates in the 2024 General Election
  • Consider how it makes sense for Democrats to organize around (non-partisan) 2023 City & School Elections
  • Learn about joining Constituency Caucuses (see list below), Democratic Clubs and House District Organizing Groups.

Please let us know whether YOU are planning to attend your 2023 Odd Year Caucus on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 am – 12 noon, and/or whether you can help out in advance with recruiting or during your caucus meeting.
